Hello!
Hi, my name is Hoang Tieu, also known as Blackmonkey.
I have been working in the advertising and design industry since 2011, with over a decade of experience in art direction for integrated campaigns, branding, and design direction for digital experiences. I’ve had the privilege of working with both large and small agencies—including Mirum, Hakuhodo, and U Studio (Unilever’s in-house agency)—collaborating with Fortune 100 brands. After leaving U Studio, I worked as a full-time Art Director for three years. My diverse client portfolio includes Techcombank, IPPG, Pepsi, CLEAR, Knorr, Lipton, Panasonic, Honda, and many more.
I believe that brand-building in the post-digital era is about creating impactful, insight-driven brand communications and delivering delightful, user-centric digital experiences. I’m particularly excited by the possibilities that emerge when agencies and brands adopt a startup mindset, as well as the storytelling potential of integrating innovation and data at the heart of brand campaigns.
